#EURUSD #GBPUSD - are longs still in play?

We usually like to watch market situation to develop further on Mondays and do not rush to trade. Advice on EURUSD is to see how price action develops around 1.3700-1.3710 level and search for a short position there. Trading with trend and sentiment is usually a better and easier way to achive quick profit so we will watch price action at 1.3646 - 1.3658 zone as a first place to join the uptrend. Meaningful break of that zone will start a corrective move towards 1.3600-1.3580.

On Monday during european session we don’t expect to much  movement, depending what price action shows we will be looking for a short position on GBPUSD at 1.6222-1.6227 level, otherwise and still preferable are long positions: first at 1.6140-1.6145, and if this level will not hold then another long position to joint uptrend at around 1.6055-1.6060 level. As the market situation developes we will keep updating.

#GBPUSD

After 1.6172 is broken I will look for a long position at this level , otherwhise short on tops around 1.6260-1.6265.

#EURUSD Friday...

Common sense dictates looking for longs. I usually try not to trade on Friday, especially if situation is not clear and I’m already in nice profit through the week. There is few places to join the trend and I mainly will look for three scenarios. 1st – break out to the upside and retracement to 1.3680, then uptrend continuation. 2nd – correction to 1.3645 and from there move up. 3rd – weekness after break out to the upside and start of correction.

#GBPUSD

Taking in consideration a very fast and big move up through 1.6060 level I’m looking to open a short position between 1.6120-1.6125. SL 15-20 pips and TP around 20-30 pips.

#EURUSD recent high attack

EURUSD broke trendline and looks ready to attack recent high at 1.3646. I expect stop losses to get triggered above 1.3650 and will be taking short a bit above that level @ 1.3660-65. for a quick 20 pips profit.

EURUSD and GBPUSD 17.10.2013 price action

Today, after USA budget agreement longs can be expected to be in favour. Is that news already in price? Nobody ever knows.

After watching carefully price action I’ll be looking to take a shot trade at a trendline, in 1.3570-1.3580 zone. I will need confirmation before taking that trade.

1.3540 will be first place to take short term long position.

Until noticable breake out I plan to trade consolidation between 1.6050-1.5900. I will be taking short at 1.6055-1.6060 otherwhise long at 1.58900-1.5895.
